Most gold plated jewellery is brass with a thin electroplated wash. It photographs well, lasts a season, and leaves a green ring on your neck the first time you forget to take it off in the shower.
Calvelle exists because most jewellery at this price is sold on vague words. We do the opposite. Each piece lists its actual base metal, its actual plating, its actual size and weight, and the care it actually needs. The Pave Heart is built on titanium steel. The Lucky Heart is plated copper alloy. We would rather tell you which is which than call both of them the same thing.
So you can wear it in the shower, the ocean, the studio and the gym, and it looks the way it did in the box. That is the whole idea. One brand, a small collection, made properly.
